Pasos Largos 2008
A MASTERPIECE PAINTED WITH GRAPES
Name: Pasos Largos
Type: Sustainable Red Wine
Winery: Bodega Pasos Largos
Region: D.O Sierras de Málaga, Serranías de Ronda
Variety: Merlot, Syrah, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
Every variety has its own special value; some are crispy and fruity, some will show full potential during ageing while others would provide what we call full body and roundness...
Combining different grapes is similar to how a painter works with colours; working with varieties literally enables us to “paint” exactly the wine we are looking for.
So, in this wine Merlot is the finest and most elegant grape that provides delicate aromas of violet flower and softness on the mouth. Garnacha, when properly fermented, gives the feel of freshness and tenderness. Syrah is full and round. Petit Verdot is a multiplayer; on one hand, it is the notes of forest berries and fruits while on the other it is marvelous and long tasted tannins.
The both Cabs, Sauvignon and Franc, are the guarantee of the wine’s structure, proper ageing in oak and futher in bottles…
