Region: Ronda, Spain.
40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot.

Uncorking
Fine purple lines against a midnight black foil immediately make the neck of this bottle stand out in the wine fridge. It's water-coloured-style label moves away from the typical sleek monotone brands out there.

First Impressions
Cold maceration (just think about what happens to your fingers when being in the pool too long) preserves the aroma and flavour of the grapes, which is immediately noticed upon opening and pouring.

Nose and Mouth
Older wines require less aeration and this went straight into the glass. The cherry red wine releases hints of woodiness, plum and berries. The mouth is intense but so light on the tongue, with a certain elegance, offering various layers of flavours like herbs, cocoa and liqueur-like notes. The finish is smooth and a little creamy and leaves the drinker satisfied while craving more.
