The second of my twelve reviews and the first of the New Year! Let's kick-start 2019 with this gorgeous Chardonnay!

The Bottle
Name: Chinchilla Cloe Chardonnay
Type: Sustainable White Wine
Vintage: 2016
Winery: Bodegas Doña Felisa
Region: Ronda, Spain.

Sealed with a foil capsule, cork closures allow for just the right about of air to properly age the bottle if stored properly (thank you Google). Apparently these foil wraps no longer serve the purpose they were initially intended for - security and pest-control.

First Impressions

Once poured, you're immediately reminded of summer - with its burst of sunshine and colour. Gorgeous yellow and gold tones with an intense aroma that hints of citrus, pine and crunchy nuttiness.

Nose and Mouth

I've let this one breathe for 30 minutes, just like the previous bottle, and although I started to grow a little impatient, this gorgeous ray of sunshine needed that breath of fresh air. If you're looking to fall in love with Chardonnay again, then this one is highly recommended. Light, fresh and full of fruitiness, this is one special bottle.
